We aim to make the auditions a friendly and supportive experience as we understand that most people find them daunting.

At the audition you will be expected to sing a piece you have prepared (with piano accompaniment if you wish) and to sing some scales and arpeggios so we can hear the range and tuning of your voice. There will also be some simple sight-reading exercises to gauge your ability. It is not essential that you sight-read perfectly but it is important that you can read music.

Scott Stroman and Sarah Wilkinson (the Musical Director and Deputy Musical Director) run the auditions with two other members of
the choir.
