An exciting collaboration with the choir of St Giles' Cathedral in Edinburgh and John Kenny's Carnyx Brass Ensemble, in an eclectic mix of brand new material and established classics. The new music, made possible by our New Music Fund, includes Hope/Light by Helen Beauchamp, The Burning Babe by Patrick Kenny, and a brass fanfare by Matthew Rourke, Bright Horizons, from which the concert takes its name. The programme also features Vaughan-Williams' rousing O, Clap Your Hands, Rutter's Gloria, Britten's Gloriana Dances and O Magnum Mysterium by Morten Lauridsen.
